Bones: Wandering Soul @PAXAus 2025

PAX Australia 2025 is wrapped, and wow… we're still buzzing.

Huge thanks to everyone who came by our booth, played Bones: Wandering Soul, and who shared with us your thoughts, your laughs, your hype, and your support. You've turned what was potentially a very nerve-wracking first PAX into something genuinely unforgettable. Seeing people connect with the game for the very first time reminded us exactly why we are making it.

This was our team's first PAX, and we had an absolute blast. To see players pick up the controller, explore the world, poke at the Alpha, and chat with us about all things games made every moment special. You brought energy, curiosity, and so many wholesome reactions that carried us through the whole weekend. A big shout out to all the content creators who came by to have a play, spread the word, or interview us! Your support truly means everything and we look forward to following all your journey’s!

We also want to give a huge shout-out to two absolute legends: Katarina from Fungees and Kate from Playindies. They checked in on us constantly, fed us, made sure we drank water like responsible humans, and jumped in for booth coverage whenever we looked like we were about to dissolve into pixel dust. Their support smoothed out the whole event in ways we can't even quantify. We couldn't have done it without you.

We would also like to give a huge thanks to Creative Victoria, who sponsored our PAX Rising booth, who have been continually supporting local game developers and always help run a successful games week in Melbourne.

And to the amazing contractors who provided music, SFX, art assistance, and other final-hour touches that went into the latest build: you helped elevate the audience experience as a whole. We received countless compliments over the weekend that belong just as much to you.

Now that we're back home, exhausted, exhilarated, and more grateful than words can say, we're turning our minds to what's next for Bones: Wandering Soul.

If you enjoyed playing or want to support the journey, please consider dropping us a Wishlist on Steam. It helps more than you might think.

Until next time, keep those lanterns lit.
